“I painted these works with both my hands and my breath, letting the pigments find their own path,” says Rosana Auqué.

The series was created using acrylic, gesso, and metallic varnish on wooden panels, applied in spontaneous yet deliberate layers. Her creative act resembles meditation — the dissolution of thought into pure awareness. Gestural strokes meet precise geometry, embodying the fragile balance between chaos and order, emotion and structure.

Each painting becomes a fragment of a larger identity — rhythmic, obsessive, and infinitely evolving — echoing the artist’s reflection that *every perception is condemned to its own world.

Presented in Barcelona in 2015, Intersecciones marks a pivotal moment in Rosana Auqué’s artistic trajectory, bridging her Mediterranean influences and her introspective visual language.
