Just found this painting I did 9 years ago while l Just found this painting I did 9 years ago while living in Holland. It’s a self-portrait. It’s amazing to see the similarities with my new landscapes and the balloon pieces flying through the air that I’m working on now. The way the dress ends up becoming flowers — THE flowers I’m painting now. Looking back at the girl who painted this, if I could tell her something, I would hug her and tell her everything was going to be OK. It was a time full of uncertainty and, yes, struggle, but that built my resilience, compassion, and hope for the future. I wouldn’t change a thing. Sometimes, when we’re doing things in the present that don’t make much sense to us, we might question why we’re doing them. Just keep going and follow your intuition. I promise, when you look back on your life, everything will make complete sense. Let this be the only time you look backward: to clarify your present and dream your future🎈 #rosanaauque #contemporaryart
